Welcome Contestants! Below are information for viewing or download for the events at Smokey Bear Stampede. Please feel free to contact us with questions if you need further clarification.

All Entries are Cash Money (No Checks!)

Open Rodeo July 3, 4, 5, & 6 at 7:30pm (with slack performance to follow).

Entries are taken daily from 4-6pm for nightly perf at Rodeo Office south of the arena across the creek. Contact Nick Peters (806-241-5422) with Flying C Rodeo Company for more info.

"OPTIONAL" AVERAGE JACKPOT

All events in the open rodeo include an optional average jackpot for a one-time $100 fee with 90% payback in each event. Three times/scores will be used to calculate the average, so drop your worst or miss a perf to still play in the average. Added money to 1st and 2nd place in the average in all events, excluding the #10 Incentive Team Roping. 

#10 Incentive Team Roping during 7:30pm performance and slack.

Capped at #5 heeler, limited to 15 teams, need to have proof of number. Five will run in perf, remaining 10 to run in slack.

Ranch Rodeo July 5 & 6 at Noon

Entry forms are mailed out and teams are accepted on first received basis, so send your entry in ASAP to make the first 16 teams. An alternate list is maintained to fill any cancelations in order of received as well. Contact Billy Bob Shafer at 575-849-1418 for more info.

Youth Ranch Rodeo July 4 at Noon
